YAMAHA AST-SW100
¥ 59,000 (1 unit, released in 1989)
Commentary
The active servo technology enables low-frequency playback up to 21 Hz in spite of its compact size.
A 40 Hz to 140 Hz continuously variable high-cut filter is used. If you set the high-cut filter to 40 Hz on the Yamaha NS-1000M and 90 Hz on the NS-10M PRO, natural and balanced bass playback is possible.
An air woofer based on active servo technology that combines the theory of the Helmholtz resonator and the negative impedance power that drives it realizes an ultra-low frequency reproduction of 21 Hz in a compact design with an internal volume of 27L.
Two 18 cm anti-magnetic units are used for the unit and can be added to AV systems.
Built-in 80W/5 Ω power amplifier.
Speaker input and line input are provided.
