Commentary
In addition to the Pure Sendust head and logic control circuit, a stereo cassette deck newly adopted Dolby C Type NR.
Pure Sendust head of low impedance design is used for recording and re-recording head.
This head uses high-purity Sendust molded by Yamaha's high-vacuum centrifugal casting method as the core material. By improving the saturation magnetic flux density, the input / output characteristics at high frequencies are greatly improved.
The mechanism uses a two motor separate drive system, and the flywheel has an outer diameter of 59 mm and a moment of inertia of about 1000g ・ cm.2By adopting a large flywheel, stable running is achieved.
Equipped with a Dolby C type noise reduction system.
The recording amplifier uses an operational amplifier to enable recording with a wide dynamic range. The playback equalizer uses a 2-stage direct-coupled amplifier with a low-noise transistor at the first stage, and the headphone amplifier uses a circuit with a high-output operational amplifier.
It uses feather touch full logic control which realizes quick response, Rec standby, Rec mute, etc.
Equipped with 2-color 12-dot LED peak meter.
Remote operation is also possible with the optional wired remote control unit.
