Commentary
A CD player developed using the technology adopted in CD 2000.
We have adopted a newly designed LSI that is finer than before and has increased the circuit integration by adopting the 2 μ m rule.
The signal processing LSI with built-in digital filter is an N-MOS type, and has a structure that integrates various digital signal processing including interleave demodulation, error detection and error correction.
The servocontrol LSI is a C-MOS type that enables high-speed processing and low power consumption. It performs signal processing such as demodulation of EFM signals and sub-codes as well as various servocontrol including optical heads, and eliminates the influence of disturbance and provides highly reliable disk control.
Equipped with a digital filter with 2 x oversampling, the CD signal sampled at 44.1 kHz is doubled to 88.2 kHz, reducing the load on the analog low-pass filter.
The analog low-pass filter is composed of a 5th-order Butterworth type active filter, which suppresses abrupt changes in phase characteristics and acquires simple characteristics. The analog low-pass filter is also made with carefully selected high-quality capacitors.
The optical head uses a three beam method, in which three beams are irradiated obliquely, and errors between the leading and trailing beams are detected to provide precise high-speed servo.
The new aLPC circuit automatically controls the amount of light reflected from the disk, enabling stable reading.
A VM stabilizer is installed to prevent the audio circuit from being adversely affected by minute vibration generated from the optical head & motor and power supply.
The VM stabilizer securely fixes the audio circuit of the PC board to prevent vibration from the drive mechanism and power transformer from entering the audio circuit. The VM stabilizer covers the back of the audio board to shield it from noise propagating through the space.
In order to increase the rigidity of the housing, we have adopted a double-bottom structure consisting of a plate on the base plate and another plate on the base plate. In addition to the plate on the base plate, we have adopted a large heavy insulator with additional weight on the four legs.
It is equipped with functions such as 12-track random program tuning, index search, space insert and remaining time display.
Equipped with 6-digit FL tube display.
Wireless remote control is included.
