Commentary
Yamaha GT series limited production straight tone arm developed with emphasis on expressive ability in record reproduction.
Since it has a pure straight structure with an offset angle of 0, the needle and cantilever of the cartridge overlap with the center line in a straight line to maintain a stable balance during tracing. In addition, since the overhang is negative, the effective arm length can be shortened by more than 30 mm, achieving high rigidity and low resonance.
In addition, it is combined with 2-ball & radial pivot bearing to suppress looseness in the left and right direction.
Uses a double-structured straight arm pipe that tightens high-rigidity non-magnetic chrome direct-plated brass pipe with a high-rigidity brass cutting arm pipe holder, thereby reducing unnecessary vibration.
Eight core Litz wires are used for the shell lead, 1.2 mm φ OFC wire is used for the arm, and ITK3000 is used for the PU cable to realize a reciprocating resistance value of 0.15 Ω.
GT series optional Auto Lifter YAL-1 cannot be mounted.
