Commentary
This is a pre-main amplifier equipped with a discrete configuration CD direct amplifier which is equivalent to the high power type of the AX-592.
In order to realize high sound quality of CD, a CD direct amplifier is mounted.
In this system, a CD direct amplifier with ultra-low noise is mounted immediately after the input terminal to reduce the noise in actual use. Moreover, in the AX-892, the noise in actual use is reduced to 1 / 3 and the output impedance is kept low by using this circuit as a discrete configuration.
Yamaha's original linear damping circuit has been adopted, and the internal impedance has been thoroughly reduced by using a lot of extremely thick wires, etc., so that a stable damping factor independent of the frequency change of the source can be realized.
In addition, a powerful LiD (low-impedance drivability) power supply is used for the power supply section, and a large transformer and large electrolytic capacitor provide stable drive capability even if the impedance of the speaker decreases.
Equipped with a pure direct switch, the input signal can be directly connected to the power amplifier by bypassing circuits such as tone control.
The input selector contacts and input terminals are gold-plated.
The internal circuit design is symmetrical from the power amplifier inlet to the output terminal to eliminate mutual interference between channels.
The shortest circuit wiring pattern reduces internal resistance and prevents sound quality degradation.
In order to suppress internal vibration and resonance that cause sound quality degradation, a unique vibration isolation base is mounted.
Equipped with a phono terminal that supports both MM and MC types.
The volume uses an electric volume.
It is equipped with tone control and continuous loudness.
Equipped with a large speaker terminal for extremely thick cable.
