Commentary
A high-cost performance amplifier developed by inheriting the technology of the AX-1200.
It is equipped with a powerful low-impedance drivability (LiD) power supply that supports the wide dynamic range of digital sources and provides highly stable power regardless of signal frequency or speaker impedance.
By minimizing the internal impedance of the amplifier, a high warping factor is obtained. In addition to realizing a stable drive without being affected by the impedance fluctuation of the speaker, a damping factor that is constant regardless of the frequency change is realized by the unique linear damping circuit.
It is equipped with a pure direct switch that supports all inputs. When the switch is turned ON, it bypasses the subsonic filter and tone control and provides a simple signal path that passes only the input selector and volume volume.
This allows for straight playback.
Equipped with Yamaha's own ground sensing circuit, the input and output ground are monitored. If a difference occurs due to external noise, etc., the difference is canceled immediately before the power amplifier, enabling high-purity playback.
Yamaha's newly developed anti-vibration base is used to completely eliminate vibration.
In addition to osae komi and absorbing the vibration generated inside the amplifier from transformers and heat sinks to a minimum, all parts are attached to the vibration isolation base to eliminate the adverse effect of vibration on music signals.
Equipped with MC/MM compatible equalizer amplifier.
The input selector uses a rotary type for remote control.
It comes with a remote control that enables power ON/OFF, input switching and volume adjustment.
There was a black model in addition to the titanium color model.
