Commentary

This is a pre-main amplifier that inherits the design philosophy of the high-grade model and introduces Yamaha's original technology.

Yamaha's original linear damping circuit has been adopted, and the internal impedance has been thoroughly reduced by using a lot of extremely thick wires, etc., so that a stable damping factor independent of the frequency change of the source can be realized.
In addition, a powerful LiD (low-impedance drivability) power supply is used for the power supply section, and a large transformer and large electrolytic capacitor provide stable drive capability even if the impedance of the speaker decreases.

A CD direct amplifier is installed to reproduce the sound of CD as it is.
In this system, a CD direct amplifier with ultra-low noise is mounted immediately after the input terminal, improving the S/N ratio by 10 db in actual use. In addition, the impedance is also reduced, making it less susceptible to external noise.
This circuit is a switch-over type.

In order to eliminate the effect of vibration of the power transformer, it is floating by vibration proof mount.

Phono terminal is mounted.

The volume uses an electric volume.

It is equipped with tone control and continuous loudness.

There are 2 color variations, titanium color and black.

It comes with a system remote control that allows you to operate Yamaha components such as CDs.
