Commentary
This is the highest quality cassette deck with JVC technology such as ANRS and 2 motor ID mechanism.
As a noise reduction system, it is equipped with Victor's original ANRS (Automatic Noise Reduction System).
ANRS does not work when recording at a high volume, but only when recording at a low volume by increasing the recording level at a constant rate. During playback, ANRS reverses the sound from the source to the original sound, thereby reducing noise components such as tape hiss by up to 10 dB.
In addition, the KD-669S is equipped with a calibration mechanism that can correct the sensitivity difference of the tape.
ANRS also supports Dolby B tapes.
A 2-motor ID mechanism with an independent capstan motor has been adopted to achieve stable driving.
Equipped with a 3-step switching type tape selector with independent bias and equalizer.
A new time constant has been adopted for the Chrometape equalizer.
It adopts a pure electronic mechanism control by a non-contact logic control circuit.
The recording / reproducing head uses a super chronios head made of ferrite material.
Equipped with peak level indicator.
Equipped with a 2-way memory counter that can switch between auto-stop and auto-play.
Equipped with a linear slide volume with independent input / output.
Equipped with line and microphone input selectors.
Equipped with ANRS automatic detection function by sensing foil method.
By connecting an optional timer, you can record your absence.
Operation from a remote location is possible by using the separately sold remote control unit.
