Commentary
Namalok deck pursuing operability and sound quality.
The super ANRS is installed as a noise reduction system.
The Super ANRS is an addition of a function to raise the high-frequency clipping level at high-level to the ANRS, which has a high-frequency noise reduction function at low-level, and expands the recording / reproducing dynamic range.
A newly developed coreless motor is used as the drive motor.
This motor is lighter than the KD-3 and KD-4 motors and can operate at 6 v. Compact, lightweight, energy-saving, and long-life batteries enable continuous recording for up to 12 hours with four single dry batteries (SUM-IU).
An SA (Sen-alloy) head is used for the recording / reproducing head.
Sendust alloys are characterized by high maximum magnetic flux density, low Barkhausen noise, high Curie point, stable temperature characteristics, and low degradation of material properties. However, when used in block cores, high head loss such as eddy current loss tends to degrade high-frequency characteristics, and they are too rigid for permalloy laminate.
The SA head has a composite structure in which a Sendust alloy chip is bonded at high temperature to the tape sliding surface of a permalloy laminate core to realize a Sen-alloy head and enabling excellent regeneration.
Double-gap ferrite head is used for the erasing head.
The cassette holder uses a dual ball holder.
In this holder, the high-hardness steel ball firmly holds the cassette half from the left and right sides, improving the stability of tape running.
The dynamic range of the amplifier circuit is expanded by stable boosting with a high-linearity DC-DC converter.
In addition to the left and right independent recording volumes, a left and right linked recording master volume is installed.
Comes with a shoulder belt.
There was a carrying case sold separately.
