A quick reverse cassette deck which is the third generation of the fine axis reverse system with Jewel lock.

A rotary head type fine axis system is adopted for the quick reverse mechanism.
This system is a three layer die-cast structure, in which the head is not fixed directly to the head holder, but a head clamp is interposed between the head holder to enable height adjustment of the head. This enables accurate positioning of the head relative to the tape, so that both forward and backward frequency characteristics and high-frequency characteristics, which tend to fluctuate, are always maintained at the same level.
In addition to the mechanism that maintains the initial performance, high precision is achieved by a highly durable molybdenum (baking) rotating part, a 2-point holding structure that minimizes head tip shake, and a 10 micron order parts system.

The tape is inverted by an infrared sensor embedded in the guide pin of the tape. When the light emitted from the light-emitting element hits the splicing tape between the magnetic tape and the reader tape, the light-receiving element detects the change in the light and instructs the tape to be inverted.

The mechanism uses a silent mechanism with a 2-motor full logic + mechanical drive motor. The microcomputer detects the position of the cam linked to the mechanical drive motor to move all modes.

A pulse servo DD motor is used as the drive motor.
This motor uses a 160 pole, 80-pulse, all-round integration type FG servo system. The comb-shaped pulse detection coil prevents the influence of external noise and the unique multi-pride bridge drive circuit reduces the influence of temperature changes on rotational accuracy.

A ceramic guard SA head is used for the recording / reproducing head.
This head was developed based on the SA head. By adopting a non-magnetic ceramic guard, the magnetization of the entire head is extremely reduced, the friction coefficient of the head surface is also reduced, and the total modulation noise is also reduced.

The amplifier section has a DC amplifier configuration.
A tracking regulator circuit is built into the power supply to stabilize the operation of the amplifier.

Equipped with a digital peak function that digitally displays the maximum recording level with a microcomputer.
The peak hold time is approximately 2 seconds. The maximum value is stored in the microcomputer and can be called arbitrarily by pressing the CALL button.

Equipped with a 4-digital counter function, you can use 4 functions such as direct reading of remaining time on tape, 4-digit electronic counter, 20-pole skip selection, and stopwatch.

Equipped with a multi-editor function.
When you press the Fade button from the RecoPause state, recording starts with an automatic fade in in about 5 seconds. When you press the Fade button to fade out, the level automatically attenuates to 0 in about 2.5 seconds and the RecoPause state is set.
When you want to fade in or fade out on a gentle curve, an in / out time of approximately 10 seconds is separately set. It can be used depending on the situation.

The edit control control buttons, you can repeat partial forward and reverse playback at half and constant speeds to get the correct tape position.

Equipped with after-fade and after-cut functions.
After fading can be done by pressing the FORCE or BACK edit control button while holding down the Fade button, and after cutting can be done by pressing the REC button instead of the Fade button.
By taking advantage of this function, you can cut or erase unnecessary parts of recorded tapes.

Equipped with a PLAY/STOP2-point memory function that enables block repeat playback.

Functions such as auto-REC mute, music scan, index scan, blank search and blank skip are included.

Equipped with 2-color FL peak meter with peak hold.

Equipped with a Dolby B/C NR system as a noise reduction system.

Equipped with timer start mechanism with safety lock.

Remote control terminal is mounted.
