Commentary
A graphic collizer composed of 10 independent elements on the left and right with a spectrum analyzer.
The SEA-80 is equipped with a 10-segment spectrum analyzer that supports 10-point SEA center frequencies from 31.5 Hz to 16 kHz.
A bar graph display system using a fluorescent display tube with an extremely fast response speed is adopted for the display, and frequency characteristics can be read quickly.
This display shows the frequency level corresponding to the 10-point SEA center frequency and the total level of all bands. You can also display the L channel, R channel, and L + R channel by switching the display mode.
In addition, the memory function allows the image to rest for a few seconds, and the volume allows the display level to be adjusted freely.
It is equipped with a microphone amplifier exclusively for acoustic measurement and a pink noise generator. By combining it with the standard microphone for measurement MU-S80 (sold separately), it is possible to directly read the transmission frequency characteristics of the speaker system and listening room with 10-division FL bar graph display.
For pink noise, you can select either the left / right channel separately or both channels simultaneously.
The signal circuit is a DC configuration with an FET input. Moreover, the SEA resonance circuit uses a semiconductor inductor circuit composed only of transistors, resistors and capacitors, and does not use any coils that cause noise.
It is equipped with a defeat switch that passes through the SEA circuit.
Equipped with a tape monitor switch and SEA recording switch.
Equipped with -6dB SEA input attenuator and -20dB microphone attenuator.
There was a special rack handle sold separately.
