In addition to SuperANRS and Dolby B (ANRS), this noise reduction unit is also compatible with Dolby C.
In order to maintain compatibility with various cassettes, it is compatible with Dolby C, Dolby B (ANRS) and Super ANRS.
The Dolby C uses a two stage sliding band system that reduces noise by changing the compression and expansion frequency depending on the signal level. This reduces the tonal variation and bleeding while improving the high-frequency linearity and reducing noise significantly.
The Dolby C circuit consists of two connected ICs that guarantee stable operation. It can also be used as B type by switching the switch.
A calibration oscillator, a playback calibration volume, and an MPX filter switch are installed to ensure accurate system operation.
