Commentary

A pre-main amplifier with an expanded scale as an advanced model of JA-S5.

The power amplifier section uses a pure complimentary service OCL circuit directly connected to all stages.

The equalizer circuit has a wide dynamic range and low distortion factor with class A differential input operation and a constant voltage power supply.
In addition, the circuit board is directly connected to the input terminal to avoid the use of shield wires, which tend to degrade the SN ratio and high frequency range.

The power supply consists mainly of a large transformer with good regulation and a filter condenser with a capacity of 10,000uFx2.
Two constant-voltage power supplies (positive and negative) are available, especially for the wide equalizer stage.

The volume part uses 4-string volume.
The main volume is a super connected type with a mutual deviation of 1 dB or less, and the volume balance of left and right does not change depending on the opening degree.
If another 2-ch amplifier is added, it can be used as a 4-ch master volume.

Equipped with an automatic return type 3 Oshige point protection circuit.
This protection circuit prevents shock noise when the power is turned on / off, detects an abnormal midpoint DC potential and disconnects the speaker, and protects the power transistor from destruction when the output is short-circuited.

It is equipped with a 5-element SEA circuit that can also be used for recording systems.
By switching the push button, the SEA circuit enters the recording loop and can be used to make desired sound or reduce noise.
The SEA circuit of JA-S8 is composed of 5 elements, and the whole audible band is divided into 5, and each point can be changed by ± 12 db.

Equipped with two tape monitor circuits.

There are also four built-in loudness and muting circuits for four channel playback.

Equipped with subsonic filter and high filter.

There was a wood case as an option sold separately.
