An AV amplifier with 5 dd surround system.
In order to further improve the conventional 4-channel surround system, we added a center channel to create a 5-channel 5 dd (dimensional digital) surround system.
The center channel outputs a monaural signal that is a mix of the left and right signals, so even if the left and right speakers are separated in order to expand the sound field, there are no gaps.
In addition, the center channel, which normally has full range characteristics, can be switched to the sub-woofer characteristics with the switch on the remote control.
A dedicated power amplifier is mounted on each channel that constitutes 5 dd.
It can also be used as a high-output 3-channel system with BTL connection using a rear power amplifier and a front power amplifier.
Three types of mode switching and level adjustment are available : Dolby Surround, which allows you to enjoy movies with powerful sound, Space Surround with stereo effect on the rear channel, and Simulated Surround which makes monaural sound into pseudo surround.
The delay circuit that controls sound over time to create a more live sound field employs a digital delay that controls music signals through digital processing.
This reduces noise and distortion that cannot be avoided by analog delay.
It is equipped with an AV adapter terminal to which a color collector or graphic equalizer can be connected, and a pre-out terminal to take out the signal of each channel.
The dubbing function is enhanced so that one video source can be dubbed to two video decks simultaneously, or two video sources can be combined into one.
It is also possible to dub video and audio from different sources.
It has a video enhancer that can correct the contour of the image.
Comes with a multi-functional remote controller with volume control capability.
The volume uses a motor drive type for the master volume, giving consideration to sound quality.
