Commentary
This is a floor-type speaker system developed as the top of the SX series.
A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit uses Kurt Mueller's KDU cone paper common to the SX series, and is designed specifically for the air suspension method.
The mid-range is equipped with a 7.5 cm soft dome scoker, and the high-range is equipped with a 3 cm soft dome tweeter.
The newly developed silicon-steel core is used for the coil of the network section. The DC resistance value is designed to be 1/20 or less of the speaker resistance value to prevent the damping of the amplifier from being impaired.
Variable constant resistance level control is installed in the high and middle regions.
The front and rear baffles of the enclosure are made of Canadian conifer, which is also used as piano material. The inner sound-absorbing material is ester wool, which has a sound absorption coefficient of 1 kHz or less that is two to three times that of conventional glass wool. In addition, soundbars are used to equalize sound propagation speed in the vertical and horizontal directions of the cabinet.
