Commentary
30 cm cone type woofer unit using AF cone.
The diaphragm uses a special foamed acrylic (AF) cone. This special foamed acrylic has an extremely dense bubble structure, feels close to pulp, and is several times stronger than other rigid foamed resins with the same specific gravity. In addition, the diaphragm with partially different bubble density and an elliptical dust cap disperse internal stress and eliminate split resonance.
A woofer unit using an AF cone has a sharp attenuation of the high-frequency band, which shuts out unnecessary high-frequency bands and smooths the connection with the high-frequency unit.
