Commentary

This dome-shaped mid-range unit was developed by investing new materials and technologies, from the diaphragm to the magnetic circuit, edge and back cavity.

It uses a 3-layer TC diaphragm made by multi-stage diaphragm making, and by obtaining high Young's modulus and appropriate size of internal loss, division vibration is suppressed and strain is reduced.

The magnetic circuit uses a laminated core made of special electromagnetic steel plates to suppress current distortion caused by eddy currents.

The voice coil is supported by a double damper to eliminate the rolling phenomenon caused by Chikara Dainyu.

The linearity of the vibration system is improved by installing a perforated pole piece dumped with sound absorbing material and a back cavity.
