Commentary
TV/FM/AM tuner equipped with TV sound multiplex and video output.
To improve the quality of analog TV broadcasting, we have adopted a separate carrier system for the TV tuner section.
In this method, only the audio signal is selected, and detection and amplification are performed separately from the video signal to prevent mixing of the video sync signal and realize playback of high-quality television audio.
SAW filters with excellent group delay characteristics are incorporated into audio and video circuits, enabling clearer signal reproduction.
The post-amplifier uses the classAA method, a circuit technology unique to Technics.
The use of a dedicated current drive amplifier frees the voltage control amplifier from the burden of current supply, enabling voltage control faithful to the input signal and current supply with margin.
Built-in high-precision program timer.
This circuit achieves high precision by controlling the FM/AM receiving station and power ON/OFF time by the microcomputer. There are two operation modes available : weekly and once.
When the timer is set, the flash flashes to indicate the next operation.
Equipped with a large FL triple display that independently displays time, frequency, and preset channels.
In addition to the video output terminal, it is equipped with an RF output terminal that can be connected to a television without a video input terminal.
Wireless remote control is included.
With this remote control, you can turn the power ON/OFF and change the antenna, and channel call can directly select each of 12 TV/FM/AM stations.
