TV/FM/AM tuner equipped with twin quartz and classAA circuit.
A twin-quartz configuration with quartz control is adopted for the front end and MPX circuit.
By using an accurate tuning frequency with a quartz oscillation in the front end, stable tuning accuracy without frequency drift is obtained. In addition, quartz control is also introduced in the MPX circuit. By adopting a double PLL configuration in which a PLL is multiplied by a second PLL based on the quartz oscillation signal, it is less affected by environmental changes such as temperature and humidity, and stable high stereo separation and low distortion are obtained.
Furthermore, by adopting a DC configuration unique to Technics, we have obtained broadband and flat frequency characteristics.
A classAA circuit is mounted in the post-amplifier section and a special current drive amplifier realizes voltage amplification in an ideal A-class state. This eliminates the influence of subtle changes in load impedance caused by the volume position of the connected cord or amplifier.
In order to meet the demand for high-quality analog TV audio, we have adopted a separate carrier system that carries out detection and amplification separately from the video signal. This prevents mixing of video sync signals and realizes high-quality TV audio playback.
In addition, SAW filters with sharp selection characteristics and flat phase characteristics are installed in both audio and video, and combined with the separate carrier system, clear signal reproduction is realized.
A program timer is installed.
There are two types of timer operation mode, daily operation and once operation.
TV, FM and AM can be preset for 10 stations each.
It is equipped with auto-IF which automatically eliminates interference of adjacent stations.
Equipped with auto-scan tuning and auto-memory function.
