Commentary

FM/AM tuner paired with integrated DC amplifier 80A.

Two stage amplification using two dual-gate junction FETs with excellent high-frequency characteristics, and a frequency-linear-type FM4-series variable capacitor are adopted to reduce the influence of Radio noises.

The IF stage emphasizes group delay characteristics to achieve both high selectivity and low distortion.

A pilot signal cancellation circuit is used, and the 19 kHz pilot signal used for stereo demodulation is cancelled by an electronic circuit.
We have also applied this circuit to a 38 kHz subcarrier and obtained excellent characteristics.

The MPX section employs an MPX demodulation circuit that employs a PLL-IC that is resistant to changes in temperature and humidity.
