Commentary
An FM/AM tuner that improves sound quality from pursuit of waveform transmission.
The front-end section is equipped with a precision class linear frequency variable capacitor of four FM and three AM streams, a VHF band-pass filter, and a balanced mixer that realizes low distortion. These products have excellent characteristics.
The IF stage has a configuration in which the signal system and control system are completely independent. Four 2-element delay flat filters with flat group delay time are used. In addition, a 6-stage differential amplifier circuit with a total of 8 stages is configured to obtain excellent amplitude characteristics.
It is also equipped with a control amplifier stage that eliminates adverse effects on the signal system.
The MPX section uses a pure electronic PLL circuit that matches both the oscillation frequency and phase with the pilot signal, and a double-differential switching system for the demodulation circuit to improve stability and separation.
In addition, by improving the circuit configuration, a line for connecting the LPF with a path is installed (Delay Time Const position).
The power supply circuit is stabilized to achieve stable operation even when the primary power supply changes by ± 20%.
The AF circuit employs a low-noise IC composed of a full-stage direct-coupled differential amplifier pure-con OCL circuit and is driven by ± 2 power supply system.

Equipped with a two level selectable FM muting circuit, normal is mono and deep is stereo, designed to operate at a total distortion of -50dB (0.3%).
Equipped with an AFC circuit that operates 5 seconds after tuning.
