Commentary
This is a top-of-the-line separate stereo that uses all of Technics products with the best acoustic technology.
Receiver section
All stages of the main amplifier are directly connected.
Distortion is reduced by the circuit configuration of ITL-OTL-OCL (without output capacitor).
By using a newly developed silicon transistor, high-frequency characteristics are greatly improved and noise reduction is realized.
A 4-pole MOS FET is used for the FM tuner section.
In addition to the 4-stage 5-stone IF circuit and 2-stage direct-coupled limiter circuit, we have improved the selectivity and limiter effect by using the patented PCM ceramic IFT.
Player part
A static balanced tone arm is used balance type tone arm.
The cartridge is equipped with the world's first top-grade MM type cartridge (Technics 200C/EPC-84SM) using platinum cobalt magnet.
Speaker part
The speaker system is a specially designed model of the National Acoustic Laboratory.
A 30 cm cone woofer is installed in the low range and a 12 cm cone squaker is installed in the middle range.
Two 5-cm horn type tweeters are installed in the high range.
