Commentary
Stereo set with all-solid state design.
Receiver section
Noise is eliminated by using a PNP silicon transistor.
The OTL circuit is used for shearing.
The FM tuner section uses a 2-stage direct-coupled limiter.
Switching system is adopted for FM multi-circuit.
Player part
The record player has an auto-return mechanism.
The cartridge is an MS type cartridge that uses PCM piezoelectric elements.
Speaker part
3-way configuration.
A 20 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The mid-range is equipped with a 9 cm cone scoker and the high-range is equipped with a 6.5 cm cone tweeter.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
Other
The speaker is equipped with screws for height adjustment.
In SC-710M, there was an interior box as an option sold separately. This interior box was also sold as SC-710M Deluxe as a set.
The interior box can be used as a record shelf or tape deck storage rack.
