Commentary
This stereo system is a further development of the SC 1600 to enhance its perfection.
The SC 1600 uses a multi-amplifier system to improve acoustic characteristics by amplifying each of low, middle and high frequencies with a dedicated power amplifier. A horn type unit is used for middle and high frequencies to ensure rich musical quality.
In the multi-amplifier system, each amplifier is directly connected to a speaker, so that intermodulation distortion and damping factor can be improved and sound quality degradation can be eliminated.
Receiver section
An OCL circuit is used for the amplifier circuit to realize sound with little distortion.
Low-noise IC is used.
It is equipped with functions such as listening control, 3-channel level control and a loudness switch.
A 4-pole MOS type FeT is used for the FM tuner section.
Player part
A semiconductor cartridge with detachable shell is used for the cartridge part.
Speaker part
3-way 3-speaker configuration is adopted.
A multi-cellar horn coker is installed in the middle area to ensure high efficiency and excellent transient characteristics.
A 30 cm cone woofer of high compliance type is installed in the low range, and a horn tweeter of 5 cm diameter is installed in the high range.
