Commentary

This speaker system was developed as a full-scale middle-size speaker system with advanced assembly technology and long years of speaker manufacturing know-how.

A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The reverse dome type center cap suppresses the disturbance of the characteristics near the crossover, and the adoption of the moltoprene edge is strong for large amplitude and achieves excellent linearity.
The magnetic circuit uses a large magnet with a diameter of 90 mm and a weight of 332g to achieve high efficiency.

A 6 cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range.
It has an edge-less structure supported by a bis-colloid support to suppress the occurrence of disturbance and distortion of frequency characteristics due to edge resonance.
In addition, magnetic fluid is filled in the magnetic gap between the voice coil and the pole piece or yoke to dissipate heat generated by the voice coil to the pole piece or yoke, thereby improving input resistance.

A 1.4 cm dome type super tweeter using polyester diaphragm is mounted in the super high frequency range.
Efficiency and input resistance have been improved by the adoption of high heat resistant voice coil.

The enclosure uses a high-density particle board.
Resonance is suppressed by effective reinforcement through computer vibration analysis, and 3-way Z-stop, which requires advanced woodworking technology, is adopted for the wooden frame, making the enclosure resistant to aging.

The unit is arranged in a staircase shape, and the sound source center is aligned with the original linear phase design of Technics.
In addition, we have improved sound localization by adopting a linear phase network in which the phase frequency characteristics including unit characteristics are totally flattened.

Equipped with a thermal relay protection circuit to prevent unit breakage due to excessive input or abnormal signal.
This protection circuit can be reset with one push.
