Commentary

This 3-way speaker system uses the DDD (Dual Dynamic Drive) system.

Two 14 cm cone-type passive radiator units and two 18 cm square passive radiators are installed in the lower range, constituting the DDD system.
In the DDD system, two sets of driver units are placed inside the enclosure, and a passive radiator is placed behind and behind the mid-range unit. By transmitting the vibration transmitted from the driver through the air to the passive radiator, a vibration area equivalent to that of a 25 cm woofer is achieved. This, combined with a clever design based on computer simulation, realizes a low-frequency reproduction capability of up to 40 Hz.
In addition, two units are arranged back-to-back to structurally cancel the reaction force, reducing the effect of speaker vibration on the enclosure and improving the resolution of reproduced sound.

14 cm cone type mid-range is mounted in the mid-range.
The diaphragm uses a composite mica diaphragm developed for the mid-range, and has obtained excellent response.

A 2.5 cm dome-shaped tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of pure mica, which has a higher specific elastic modulus and internal loss than titanium or aluminum, enabling high-frequency reproduction up to 45 kHz.

A separate cabinet structure has been adopted for the enclosure to prevent interference due to unnecessary vibration by structurally separating the cabinets for middle and high range and for low range.
In addition, MDF with less noise is used for the tapered baffle and round shell plate to reduce disturbance of characteristics due to resonance of the cabinet itself and incidental sound.

The convex pin type is adopted in consideration of the effect on the sound quality at the net catch part, and the accompanying sound due to cavity resonance and reflection is reduced.

Uses gold plated speaker terminals that can be connected to extremely thick cords and 4 mm plugs.

Uses an anti-magnetic design.
