Commentary
This is the first speaker system in Technics to adopt the bass reflex method.
The unit is equipped with a 16 cm cone type full range speaker.
This unit uses a convex roll edge of soft urethane foam for the edge to obtain a reproduced sound with low fo and little cross modulation distortion.
A powerful 80 φ magnet is used in the magnetic circuit to improve transient characteristics and efficiency. In addition, a wizer dedicated to the high-frequency range is installed to extend the high-frequency playback limit.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system and is designed to fit the unit.
The exterior has a Oceania cheeks finish.
