Commentary

This 2-way speaker system was developed by introducing the technical results of the SB-1000.

A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A laminated core magnetic circuit is adopted for the magnetic circuit, and by superposing a special electromagnetic steel plate with large specific resistance and high saturation magnetic flux density in the vicinity of the voice coil, the vortex continuous flow is difficult to flow and the linearity is improved.
The diaphragm has a corrugation to prevent split vibration, and the support system urethane foam edge and large damper improve the linearity.

A 3.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
A TC diaphragm is used for the diaphragm, and a three layer structure in which a material with large internal loss is sandwiched by a material with high Young's modulus suppresses split vibration and abnormal resonance.
In addition, a perforated pole piece and a back cavity are provided in the rear part of the diaphragm to suppress abnormal resonance caused by air pressure. In addition, a low fo of 700 Hz is realized by combining with a three layer molded soft suspension edge.

Equipped with 7-stage variable tweeter level control.

The enclosure has a sealed structure using 18 mm thick plates.
The exterior has a サベチーク oil finish.
