Commentary

This speaker system was developed as an integration of technics and speaker technologies such as linear phase design.

A 46 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The high-frequency characteristics are improved by coating the surface of the woofer cone paper, and sound quality near the crossover between the mid-range horn and woofer is improved.

The mid-range is equipped with a mid-range horn speaker designed to improve directional characteristics and distortion.
This unit uses a 110 φ large-diameter diaphragm to reduce distortion, thereby minimizing air distortion at the throat of the horn. In addition, the horn shape with a wide opening from the small throat diameter is adopted to improve directional characteristics. In addition, the flat magnet further improves directional characteristics, and a unique shape is adopted together with a large back cavity to reduce distortion.
In order to improve the high-frequency characteristics, the slit of the equalizer has been increased from the usual 4 to 5.

For the horn part, a thick special rubber vibration isolator is attached, and it is dumped with foamed neoprene. It is pressed with a board and fixed with screws to cope with the horn noise.

A horn type tweeter is installed in the high frequency range.
In this unit, boron is used not only at the dome but also at the edge of the diaphragm to increase the high-range playback limit.

The network section employs a dedicated network designed based on the actual measurement of the phase measuring instrument, which not only smooths the sound pressure frequency characteristics but also flattens the phase frequency characteristics.

The enclosure uses a 300 liter bass-reflex type cabinet.
