Commentary
3-way bookshelf speaker system.
A 25 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
This unit has a thick enough cone paper and uses UL edge for the edge.
Equipped with 12 cm cone type skoker in the middle area.
This unit is an improvement of the EAS-12PL50 used in Technics 1 (EAB-1204/SB-1204) for mid-range use. By using cone paper and edge produced by special raw materials and manufacturing method, flat characteristics with less distortion are obtained.
The EAS-5HH17 horn type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm of the EAS-5HH17 uses a polyester film that is light and highly rigid to reduce the weight of the vibration system.
The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
