Commentary
A CD player with functions such as preset editing.
The audio circuit is equipped with a unique super-clean digital filter.
This circuit employs the newly developed 96th order digital filter MN6618A, combined with a high-precision analog low-pass filter to thoroughly remove unwanted noise components without compromising audio characteristics, thereby improving not only phase and frequency characteristics but also acoustic sound quality.
A high-precision FF-1 laser pickup with one beam system unique to Technics is used in the pickup section.
The FF-1 laser pickup uses more laser light than the conventional three beam system, and the S / N ratio of the reproduced signal is greatly improved.
By floating the entire traverse mechanism, vibrations that adversely affect sound quality are prevented.
Built-in preset editing function.
With this function, if you program a song you want to edit after setting the recording time of the tape to be used, when you press the TIME MODE key in the middle of the program, the remaining time of the tape is calculated and displayed, making it easier to edit matches the remaining time.
We have adopted a high-speed linear access system that employs a high-precision linear motor for the drive part of the traverse mechanism that moves the pickup. In addition, a servo system using a newly developed microcomputer realizes a high-speed head-start of 1.0 seconds on average.
In this system, there is no reduction mechanism such as gear belt, and quietness and durability are improved.
It is equipped with a 6-digit FL multi-display that can display the elapsed time and remaining time of all songs and the elapsed time and remaining time in the performance in four modes. The display also displays the attenuation of the digital attenuator.
It is equipped with functions such as 20-track random program, skip / manual search, 1 track / all track / program repeat.
Wireless remote control with 10 keys is included.
This remote control is equipped with a digital attenuator function, and the volume can be adjusted from 0 dB to -12dB in increments of 2 dB using the level key.
