Commentary

S-Advanced Mash CD-player with 1 bit DAC and virtual battery.

The newly developed S-advanced Mash 1-bit DAC is used for the D/A conversion part.
This D/A converter further improves sound quality by adopting new technology active feedback and adaptive local quantizer in the advanced Mash of 3-chip configuration, and realizes a theoretical dynamic range of 145 dB by fourth order noise shaping and 64-bi-oversampling.
In addition, the PWM converter realizes high S/N, low distortion and high linearity in combination with the 8 dac configuration by transmitting the clock signal directly from the crystal.
In the differential circuit, the high-precision instrumentation circuit structure is integrated into an IC, and a highly trimmed circuit is adopted, which realizes more faithful reproduction of minute signals.

The power supply employs a newly developed virtual battery operation, which eliminates noise from the power supply and digital circuit, and realizes high-quality sound quality that is not inferior to battery operation.
We have also adopted an R-core transformer with extremely low leakage flux for the transformer and a newly developed MASTER series large aluminum electrolytic capacitor for the condenser to further improve the sound quality.

Uses Technics Hybrid Construction Base (THCB) to reduce adverse effects of external vibration on sound quality.
The THCB has a multi-layered structure in which a rubber base is sandwiched between an iron plate chassis and an iron plate bottom chassis. It is combined with a large insulator to reduce external vibration.
In addition, in order to reduce the vibration of the mechanism, we have adopted an insulator of the optical deck section with silicone gel, a wide disk tray and a unique loading mechanism SL1.

Digital Servo II system is used for the servo circuit.
This circuit is configured so that the servo drive current does not flow to the ground, thereby suppressing the fluctuation of the ground potential caused by the servo drive current.

Class AA circuit is used for the line-out circuit to enable more faithful signal transmission.

Digital de-emphasis circuit is mounted.

Equipped with DC straight amplifier circuit.

Equipped with a display mode function to turn off the display.

Digital optical output terminal is mounted.

Gold-plated RCA pin output terminal is mounted.
