Commentary
A manual type record player which omitted the full auto function from SL-1600mk2.
An all-around detection FG is used to detect the number of revolutions, and a detection signal with higher accuracy than the one point detection method is obtained.
The motor is an integrated D. D motor.
The main base on which the arm, turntable and motor are mounted is floating from the cabinet. In addition, the cabinet is supported by an insulator with excellent anti-vibration characteristics. The double insulator mechanism is adopted to suppress vibration.
In addition, TNRC, an acoustic material with excellent vibration and vibration characteristics, is used for the bottom base and cabinet top surface to block and absorb external vibration.
The bearing structure of the turntable adopts a gimbal suspension system in which the axis centers of the horizontal rotating part and the vertical rotating part intersect at a point, and realizes an initial motion sensitivity of 7 mg for both horizontal and vertical.
The back of the turntable is deadened with rubber, and the cabinet is die-cast with aluminum to prevent howling.
Equipped with a quartz synthesizer, continuous pitch control is possible.
In addition, the LED pitch display of bar graph display is installed so that the change of the pitch can be easily confirmed.
Equipped with an arm height adjustment mechanism using a 6-row helicoid.
It has a built-in muting circuit that suppresses unpleasant sound when the needle touches or leaves the record surface.
Equipped with needle tip illumination that can be stored in the cabinet.
Equipped with an electronic brake to quickly and smoothly stop the turntable.
