Commentary
Direct drive auto-player with new structure that is resistant to howling.
It uses the world's first D. D motor IC (AN630) circuit that integrates the motor drive, control, and various functions into a single chip. This IC consists of a total of 321 elements including transistors, diodes, resistors, and capacitors. With a chip size of 3x2.7 mm, it realizes excellent integration.
The B ・ FG (Back Electro Motive Force Frequency Generator) method is used as a speed detection method to accurately maintain the rotational speed of the motor. This method detects the back electromotive force of the drive winding, shapes the waveform inside the IC, and makes the FG of 13.3 Hz (at 33 1/3rpm) by logic rigidity. It realizes excellent characteristics and variable characteristics against load speed using the features of the IC.
The motor uses a unique D. D motor with an integrated structure. In addition, the rotating part of the motor is integrated with the turntable and the fixed part is integrated with the case. There is no need to stack the case, motor, and turntable, thus improving performance and reliability.
A floating double insulator has been adopted to prevent howling.
First of all, the main cabinet is supported by an insulator with excellent vibration damping characteristics to suppress unnecessary external vibration. Then, the main base, which is integrated with the bottom cover to increase weight, is floated by an insulator made of appropriate viscoelastic material and metal spring. In addition, the main base is made heavy by a metal boat, and vibration damping measures are taken by viscoelastic material.
Equipped with an auto return mechanism, the detection mechanism works at the end of the performance, and the tone arm automatically returns to the rest and the player's power is turned off.
The tone arm uses a gimbal suspension system high-sensitivity tone arm with an initial motion sensitivity of 7 mg.
In addition, MM type cartridge is installed.
