Commentary
A direct drive player developed with the know-how of Technics.
A direct drive is used for the drive part.
In the SL-1300, the rotating part of the motor is integrated with the turntable and the fixed part is integrated with the case. This eliminates the need to stack the case, motor, and turntable and improves performance and reliability.
A high-sensitivity gimbal suspension system using a precision pivot bearing is used in the tone arm bearing section, and excellent tracing performance is obtained by setting an appropriate effective mass and reducing the precision and weight of the auto mechanism.
The head shell is a die-cast shell, and the terminal is gold-plated.
Start and cut can be done by lever operation. Automatic and manual operation are combined type without switching.
The auto-start mechanism allows the needle tip to be gently lowered into the groove for the record of the set size only by operating the lever. You can enjoy playing the record without worrying about the arm operation at the start of playing the record.
Equipped with a memo repeat mechanism that can automatically repeat playing 1-5 times and infinite times according to the number of the knob.
Equipped with a prism-type strobe illuminator that also serves as an operation indicator lamp.
Rotational speed 33 1/3 and 45 rpm can be independently adjusted by 10%.
Oil dump type queuing lever is included.
The case uses a slim design made of aluminum die-cast.
It also has a built-in insulator to prevent external vibration and acoustic feedback.
The dust cover is detachable.
Plus arm that was sold separately can be added.
