Commentary

A record player corresponding to the upgraded model of SL-1200MK3.

DD (direct drive) system is adopted for the drive motor.
The rotating part of the motor is integrated with the turntable and the fixed part is integrated with the cabinet. This motor uses an all-round integration type FG. Since the number of revolutions is detected all around, high-precision signal detection is possible. As a result, high rotational accuracy and high starting torque are achieved.
In addition, a pure electronic brake is adopted for the stop mechanism, and the brake is applied quickly and released at the same time as the stop.

Quartz synthesizer system is adopted, and combined with DD motor and all-around detection FG with high signal detection accuracy, accurate rotation is realized.
In addition, it is equipped with continuous pitch control, and it can be used at the desired pitch by setting the quartz lock for fine adjustment of the pitch. This pitch control slider eliminates the center click, and the reset switch enables smooth operation.

The cabinet has a 3-layer structure to prevent vibration from the direct sound pressure of the speaker and external vibration.
The cabinet uses high rigidity aluminum die-cast at the top, integrally molded special heavyweight TNRC (Technics Non-Resonance Compound) at the bottom, special heavyweight rubber at the bottom, and デッドニングゴム at the back of the turntable to improve vibration resistance.
In addition, the use of large insulators suppresses adverse effects from the outside.

The tone arm is made of precision die-cast aluminum to minimize the influence of external vibration. The bearing structure is made of a gimbal suspension combining a high-precision pivot and four bearings. The center of rotation is defined as a single rotation where the vertical rotation axis and the horizontal rotation axis intersect, so that the same excellent initial motion sensitivity is obtained in all directions.

Equipped with an arm height adjustment mechanism with a lock mechanism to minimize vertical tracking error.

Equipped with a pop-up stylus illumination, it can illuminate the needle tip even in a dark room.

Head shell is included.
