Commentary

This high-end player system takes advantage of the high performance of the direct drive motor.

A DC motor with ultra-low-speed electronic control is used for the motor. It is free from fluctuations in power supply voltage and power supply frequency, and large torque can be obtained with a small amount of electric power. This motor has an inertial mass of 320 kg ・ cm.²Turntable reaches normal speed at 1/2 turn, and quick start is also available.

The turntable is made of die-cast aluminum 35 cm in diameter and 2.0 kg in weight. The dynamic balance of each part is precisely adjusted, and the speed can be finely adjusted with a strobe.

The motor, turntable and player case are made of die-cast aluminum, and the total weight reaches 13.5 kg.

The tone arm has been developed for SL-1100.
The balance adjustment is a rack-and-pinion type. When the knob is pulled after the balance is taken, the scale returns to 0. From that point, the needle pressure can be accurately applied to the desired needle pressure while directly reading the scale.
To cancel the inside force, simply turn the upper anti-skating force control knob according to the needle pressure.

Since the arm base is fixed with screws, it can be attached and detached.

The body is supported by four legs with built-in insulators to cut off external vibration, and the height can be adjusted by turning these legs.

The output terminal is a pin-jack type.

Dust cover is included.

Arm panel (die-cast / wood), strobe light and wood base were sold separately as options.
