This is a recording / re-reverse deck that realizes a quick bus of 0.4 seconds.

A newly developed infrared sensor is used to detect the tape reversal position, enabling reverse recording / playback from one side to two sides.
The sensor is designed with an LED and phototransistor directly attached to the main body. The sensor inserted into the tape guide hole converts the reflected light caught at the border between the recording tape and the reader tape into an electric signal and transmits it to the mechanism. This realizes a quick reverse of approximately 0.4 seconds.
In addition, it is a heavy-duty design that protects against tape creases and accidental reverse operation due to direct sunlight.

By operating the reverse select button, you can perform three types of reverse play : normal running mode, normal rotation mode, reverse rotation mode and stop mode, and continuous tape play mode in which normal rotation and reverse are repeated continuously.
In the case of recording, two types of modes can be selected : the normal running mode and the mode to stop after reversing from the normal rotation.

Equipped with a direction selector that can switch the traveling direction.
Pressing this switch reverses the tape movement and allows you to listen to the reverse side of the tape. You can also check the direction of the tape movement with the direction indicator.

The head section is composed of four heads, each equipped with an independent recording / reproducing head for forward rotation and an independent recording / reproducing head for reverse rotation, and an independent erasing head. The fixed head ensures high reliability, while the azimuth and bias characteristics are individually adjusted to achieve recording / reproducing performance close to the ideal in both directions.
An SX Sendust head with excellent frequency characteristics is used for recording / reproducing heads, and a double-gap ferrite head with high erasing capability is used for erasing heads.

The tape travel mechanism is equipped with two capstan wheels that are independently adjusted for forward rotation and reverse rotation to obtain excellent tape travel performance. In addition, the FG servo motor with high rotational accuracy also has two flywheels for the capstan that are always rotating and ready for quick reverse. Sharp rise from forward rotation to reverse rotation and from reverse rotation to forward rotation is achieved.

Equipped with a music selector, you can quickly find the music you want to listen to.
This function works if there is an unrecorded part of about 4 seconds between songs.

Equipped with an auto tape selector that automatically sets the tape type.

Equipped with an auto input selector that automatically switches to microphone input when the microphone is turned on.

Equipped with 2-color FL display with peak hold.
