Commentary
Stereo cassette deck equipped with dbx.
Dbx is installed as a noise reduction system.
In order to faithfully record the dynamic range of music over 100 dB to tape, dbx records music with 1 / 2 compression level. During playback, the level is expanded to restore the original level. This reduces noise by more than 30 dB over the entire audio band and achieves a recording saturation level of + 20 dB. This makes it possible to record and play back high-quality sound.
The selector also has a dbx disk position to accommodate the decoding of dbx-encoded records.
Equipped with Dolby NR circuit.
Softtom mechanism is used for the mechanism part.
The Softom uses the rotational power of the motor to switch between the head-hold and reel drives. It also operates with a pressure of 200g to 400g, improving operability.
An electronically controlled DC motor is used as the drive motor.
The MX head developed for metal tape is used for the recording and reproducing head.
Equipped with a large level meter.
Equipped with a timer standby mechanism.
Equipped with rewind autoplay.
Equipped with auto-stop mechanism.
It has a Queue & Review function.
Equipped with a REC mute mechanism.
