Commentary
This stereo cassette deck is the same size as the Concise Compo.
A flat-faced D. D. motor is used for the drive mechanism.
By integrating a large-mass flywheel into a brushless, slotless, coreless motor that rotates smoothly at low speed, inertia is increased.
A digital FG servo system with digital technology is used to control the transport mechanism, and the motor rotation is controlled by a digitally processed high-density signal of 160 pulses per rotation.
This servo system uses a circumferentially opposed all-round integration system that detects the output from the FG (frequency generator) built into the rotor throughout the entire rotation. This system has a fast control response speed, little rotational drift, and strong resistance to temperature and load fluctuations. Combined with a high-precision capstan with a roundness of 0.1 μ, this system realizes excellent rotational accuracy.
Equipped with a purely electronic digital FL display.
The RS-M02 uses two color-coded displays : white up to 0 dB and red above 0 dB.
IC logic control system is adopted for the operation part, and a switch with 0.8 mm stroke and 70g pressure is adopted.
The new SX Sendust head is used for the recording and reproducing head.
Equipped with a 4-position tape selector with metal tape position.
