Commentary
The DCC deck allows playback of analog cassettes and DCC (Digital Compact Cassette).
DCC uses Precision Adaptive Sub-Band Coding (PASC) for recording and playback encoding in order to achieve high sound quality similar to CD with compact tapes.
In this method, only an audible signal is recorded without areas that cannot be heard or are hidden by other sounds from the original sound, thereby achieving higher sound quality with less information.
The mechanism section employs a 20-channel fixed thin-film head utilizing semiconductor technology.
This head consists of eight channels for digital recording, eight channels for digital playback, one channel for control signal recording, one channel for control signal playback, and two channels for analog playback, enabling high-quality digital recording and playback as well as analog playback.
In addition, by rotating the head, it is also compatible with Oatley berth.
Equipped with a transport mechanism that automatically detects analog cassette tapes and DCC tapes.
In addition, the lower half of the head is for analog playback, enabling playback compatibility between DCC and analog tapes.
Equipped with text mode, you can display album titles, artist names and song names of music soft tapes on the FL display. You can display up to 12 alphabet and number characters.
It is equipped with coaxial and optical digital input / output terminals for automatic sampling frequency.
TNRC base is adopted to reduce external vibration.
In addition, the resonance of the chassis is suppressed by fixing the side with side wood.
It is equipped with a track number search that allows you to find the track immediately.
SCMS method is adopted.
Analog cassette playback function equipped with Dolby B/C is installed.
Wireless remote control is included.
