Stereo cassette deck using closed-loop dual capstan system and 3-head

A closed-loop dual capstan system is adopted for the mechanism part, and by configuring the running system with two sets of capstan and pinch rollers, the head touch is maintained at a constant tension, and wow flutter and disturbance noise are reduced.
In addition, the high-torque DD motor is driven by digital servo system, and stable running performance is realized by excellent rotational accuracy.

For the recording amplifier, Technics' discrete linear magneto field class AA is adopted, and by composing the recording amplifier with voltage control amplifier and current supply amplifier, waveform response of the magnetic field is greatly improved.

In order to realize a more faithful waveform response, a phase correction circuit is incorporated in the reproduction system.
In addition, the CD direct line input terminal is equipped to record data without losing the dynamic range of the CD.

Two types of materials, zinc die-cast and aluminum die-cast, are effectively used together in the mounting frame that supports the driving mechanism, and strong vibration resistance is obtained.
In addition, the power assist cassette loading system firmly fixes the high-rigidity cassette holder containing glass fibers in the fixed position of the mechanism, and the cassette half stabilizer suppresses vibration of the half itself caused by tape running.

The internal structure has adopted a T. N. R. C. base with excellent vibration damping characteristics and a vibration-proof top plate to reduce external vibration and internal mechanical vibration.

By adopting separate block structure, mutual interference is prevented.
In this structure, the power supply for the mechanism control system and the audio system are separated, and the audio system is divided into five blocks : a playback equalizer, a playback noise reduction, a recording noise reduction, a recording equalizer, and a headphone. This prevents signal interference from adversely affecting sound quality.

Beat noise is reduced by installing a BS bias that drives the bias at a high oscillation frequency of 200 khz or more.

Equipped with APRS (Advanced Precise Level System) function.
When a signal is input in the recording pause state and the APRS button is turned ON, the maximum value of the input signal can be held and displayed on the meter. If you adjust the Rec-Level to match the displayed maximum value, the hold display on the meter will move to match and you can set the recording level appropriately.

The level meter uses a range switching type, and the level display can be switched in 1 dB steps.

Built-in oscillator for recording calibration enables adjustment of the recording level and bias of the left and right channels.

As a noise reduction system, in addition to Dolby B/C, dbx, which is highly effective in reducing noise, is installed.

An amorphous head with PC-OCC winding is used for the recording / reproducing combination head.

Equipped with Dolby HX-PRO, which improves high-frequency recording characteristics.

Equipped with linear electronic counter, memory stop and memory repeat can be performed.

Equipped with MPX filter.

Equipped with an auto tape / source monitor.

Wireless remote control is included.
