Commentary
A tape deck with four channel recording and playback functions added to the RS 715 u.
An HPF head is used for recording 4 ch.
The capstan motor uses a high-torque hysteresis synchronous type, and the tape speed is controlled by changing the number of poles between 4 and 8.
Also, the Little Motor uses an induction type.
Each is directly connected to the reel stand to improve stability of tape running.
2 ch is equipped with a function of reciprocating playback.
It uses a foil sensing method and also has a delay device to prevent unpleasant sound and damage to the tape.
The monitor switch is of channel independent type and the source / tape can be switched for each channel.
It is operated by electromagnetic operation with light feather touch, and remote control is also possible.
Each channel for multi-recording is equipped with an independent record select switch.
Microphone Line It is equipped with an independent input adjustment knob to enable mixing recording.
