Commentary

This is a stereo cassette deck with a design that can be operated from the front at a low price.

The mechanism uses a horizontal drive system to ensure stable performance for long periods of time with less uneven rotation.
A belt drive system using an electronically controlled DC-motor is used as the drive system, and stable performances are brought out by stacking invisible parts such as precision flywheels and precision flat belt.

The LH head (Long Life High Density) is used for the recording and reproducing head.
This head uses high hardness permalloy as material.

The erasing head uses a full-surface ferrite structure for abrasion resistance and a double-gap type with good erasing efficiency.

An oil dump type cassette door using special oil for the door opening is adopted.
The door itself has a large area and the interior is illuminated to make it easier to see the tape running and to clean the head.

The mechanism is independent of the pause, and only the pinch roller is separated from the capstan and the tape is pressed to the head as it is. This prevents noise caused by the increase or decrease of bias from being recorded on the tape even if you pause during recording.
In addition, it is designed so that there is no worry that it suddenly switches from the quick winding state such as ff or rew to play, and it reduces the burden on the tape.

Equipped with a timer standby mechanism.
If you press the timer stand by button at the same time as the record or play button, recording starts automatically as soon as the power is turned on by the timer.
It is designed to start with the rotational force of the flywheel during normal operation, but the pinch roller separates from the capstan during standby, so there is no burden on the mechanism.

The recording volume is a 41-step recording adjustment volume.
The volume for the left and right channels is coaxial and independent 2-axis double friction drive type, and the level can be easily set when left and right balance adjustment is not necessary.

Equipped with a 3-position tape selector.
It is effective to use CrO2 for chrome, normal for low noise and SG, and ex for 2-layer coated tape.
The characteristics are changed by selecting a bias and an equalizer.

Equipped with a large level meter.

We place importance on the design of the amplifier and we are making every effort to ensure low noise, low distortion rate, and dynamic range.
The equalizer circuit consists of two stages directly connected to each other. The first stage employs a low-noise transistor, 2SC1327.
In terms of mechanism, performance and reliability are improved by minimizing the use of shield wires taking advantage of the features of the printed circuit board, and linearity (19 dB at 0 VU or higher) is guaranteed to exceed the limit of the tape itself to ensure dynamic range.
