Commentary

Stereo cassette deck using AC-DC2 power source system.

Uses an AC-DC2 power supply system that allows outdoor recording by connecting an optional battery set.

HPF (Hot Press Ferrite) head has been adopted for the head.
HPF is made by molding fine powder of manganese, zinc and ferrite at high temperature and high pressure. It is characterized by high permeability and excellent wear resistance. It also realizes excellent frequency characteristics with little loss in the high frequency range due to eddy current. In addition, HPF head realizes excellent gap accuracy by finishing with ultra-precision processing technology of 1 / 1000 mm unit.

A 2-motor direct drive system is adopted for the mechanism part.
The capstan uses a non-contact electronic commutator motor, which electronically controls the rotation of the capstan to achieve an ultra-low speed rotation of about 5 revolutions per second, while the reel uses a DC motor.

The new 70 μ S equalizer improves the SN ratio by 4.5 dB.

Independent input adjustment of microphone and line is possible.

Equipped with a microphone input attenuator switch.
