Commentary
A cassette deck that uses Dolby system and HPF head.
A 1-motor belt drive system is adopted for the mechanism part.
A hysteresis synchronous outer rotor motor is used for the motor, and a highly accurate flywheel with a large inertial mass is used for the flywheel.
A photoelectric system is used for the automatic stop device when the tape is finished, enabling accurate stop.
An HPF head using a hot-pressed ferrite core is adopted for the head part.
This head was developed for professional use in VTR, and has been used for music tape dubbing since early times. HPF is made by molding fine powder of manganese, zinc and ferrite at high temperature and high pressure to realize a head with high permeability and excellent abrasion resistance. It also realizes excellent gap accuracy by being finished by ultra-precision processing of 1 / 1000 mm unit.
The estimated life of this head is approximately 200000 hours and the gap width is 1.5 microns.
Ferrite head is adopted for the erasing head considering chrome tape.
The Dolby System is installed as a noise reduction system.
The RS 271 u has a Dolby level controller for accurate recording and playback level adjustment.
Built-in memory rewind function.
The combination of counter and automatic stopping device allows automatic head-tracking from anywhere.
Equipped with a tape selector for chrome tapes.
By changing the selector, the bias current and equalizer can be adjusted, and the characteristics of the tape can be achieved.
Equipped with a VU meter.
The recording volume and the playback volume are installed independently.
A display lamp is provided to confirm the operation status.
The display lamp is for recording, Dolby, and Chrome tape.
