Commentary
4-track 38 cm 6-head auto-reverse open reel deck.
By utilizing the symmetrical mechanism, the same performance is achieved for both forward and reverse rotations, enabling high-precision reciprocal recording and playback.
With RS 1700 u, you can record back and forth, play back endlessly, and record back and forth intermittently.
Infrared photo control system is adopted for the reverse mechanism.
An isolated loop system is adopted for the mechanism part.
In addition, a quartz lock DD motor is used for the motor.
IC logic control system is adopted.
It uses a strobe with LED lighting.
Equipped with pitch control function of ± 6%.
Equipped with a double scale meter.
Equipped with a 3-stage switchable tape selector with independent bias and equalizer.
Equipped with cue lever and edit dial.
DC drive is possible by using a battery adapter sold separately.
There are 2 color variations, black and silver.
