Commentary

Stereo tape deck with isolated loop system.

The mechanism uses an isolated loop system with one capstan and two pinch rollers. This system realizes a closed loop system, isolating the contact path of the head from the rotation of the reel base, and eliminating the adverse effects of fluctuations in tape tension.

The capstan uses a direct drive system with quartz lock control. The capstan has a diameter of 34 mm and is highly accurate.

It uses a strobe with LED lighting, and speed deviation in seconds can be visually checked.

Equipped with 3-stage bias switch and 3-stage equalizer switch.

The head section consists of four heads. The tape path is arranged in the order of four track playback, two track erasure, two track recording, and two track playback.

It uses a reel stand direct drive that can fast-forward and rewind at almost constant speed from beginning to end.

Equipped with a cue lever.

The level meter uses a double-scale system.

Equipped with tape pitch control, it can be adjusted within ± 6%.

Equipped with a timer standby mechanism.

It is equipped with a microphone amplifier with a 77 dB dynamic margin for real live recording.

DC drive is possible with optional battery case and 40 single dry batteries. Approximately 2 hours of continuous recording is possible when using Neo High Top dry batteries.

Rack joint for 19 inch standard rack, dust cover, wood case and portable case were sold separately.
