Commentary

A graphic equalizer with 33 + 1 elements for flexible adjustment.

It is composed of 33 elements, each of which is independent on the left and right sides. The wide band from 16 Hz to 25 kHz can be controlled by dividing into 33 elements each on the left and right sides.
The center frequency of each band is set in 1/3 octave steps, and the level can be adjusted by ± 12 dB at each point.

In addition, a variable equalizer with one element each on the left and right sides can compensate for the fluctuation of low-frequency characteristics due to the influence of standing waves.
The center frequency of the peak (or dip) can be set in the range of 20 Hz to 400 Hz, and the resonance sharpness Q of the peak (or dip) can be set in the range of 0.7 to 7 continuously variable.

The band-pass filter circuit uses the constant Q method, which realizes a constant peak (or dip) of the resonance sharpness Q regardless of the position of the level knob, and suppresses mutual interference with adjacent bands.

High-quality parts carefully selected through repeated trial listening are used. A band-pass filter is composed of high-quality audio capacitors, resistors, and semiconductor elements, and an operational amplifier composed of low-noise and high-slew rate configuration is used.
In addition, the sound quality is improved by using a top plate with thorough anti-vibration measures and an extremely thick power cord.

By switching the front panel switch, two connected tape decks can dub each other.
Use the Rec Mode switch to turn equalizer recording on or off.

Equipped with gold-plated RCA input / output terminals and cannon type balanced input / output terminals.

The level control knob is equipped with an LED indicator so that you can see the equalization curve at a glance.
