SH-F101
Commentary

In addition to the built-in electronic tuning circuit of the SH-F100, this is an FM wing antenna with built-in DC voltage supply circuit of the SH-F100 for all tuners.

By setting the selector at the rear of the base to the Normal position and adjusting the tuning knob to the frequency of the desired receiving station, the results of the FM wing antenna such as single frequency tuning can be obtained even with a tuner other than the SH-F100 adaptive.
When connecting to an SH-F100 adaptive unit, if the selector is set to the AUTO position, control is received from the tuner and manual operation is not required.

The SH-F101 has a built-in tuning circuit composed of a zigzag pattern antenna element, two silicon varactors and a coil.
As with a standard dipole antenna with a width of 428 mm installed in an ideal state, a gain of almost 0 dB is achieved at any frequency point. In addition, the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), which shows how much the antenna impedance deviates from the rated value, is almost 1 over the entire band. We have succeeded in minimizing the matching loss at the connection point.

In the FM band by electronic tuning, it has an extremely sharp selectivity characteristic of 10 dB at 3 MHz detuning, and is excellent in eliminating beat interference between broadcast waves.
It also has a high suppression capability in the frequency range from 100 MHz to 500 MHz outside the FM band, and is designed to be resistant to urban noise such as automobile noise.

The antenna base is die-cast and has a highly stable structure.

Equipped with a battery checker with a bright red LED indicator on the front of the antenna base.
